چکیده

Abstract Efficient and economical production in shale reservoirs requires specific knowledge techniques to characterize the fracture network, which consists of both large hydraulic fractures natural fractures. Current research mainly focuses on part, while characterizing is relatively rare due complexity uncertainties distribution reservoirs. This paper proposed a numerical method for this complex network handles at full dimensions using combination microseismic data, geostatistical information, fracking plan, reservoir simulation. We use clouds generate mappings choose most appropriate set schedule flowback The are treated fractal probabilistic model calibrated with information including length, density, intensity. Both mentioned above then modeled embedded discrete (EDFM) coupled create hybrid applied simulation grids. Numerical performed investigate further into history matching reduce uncertainty by select from multiple realizations. Sensitivity analysis also analyze controlled parameters total production. used our approach study horizontal well performance Permian Basin compared results traditional characterization methods. Our established work has shown best agreement data randomized multimedium method. provides novel networks may be guide optimizations plan management.

Wellbore Stability in Shale Formation Using Analytical and Numerical Simulation

Optimization of drilling fluid parameters such as mud weight, salt concentration, and temperature is essential to alleviate instability problems during drilling through shale sections. The selection of suitable mud parameters can benefit from analyses that consider significant instability processes involved in shale-drilling–fluid interactions. This paper describes the development of analytical...

A Classification Method for E-mail Spam Using a Hybrid Approach for Feature Selection Optimization

Spam is an unwanted email that is harmful to communications around the world. Spam leads to a growing problem in a personal email, so it would be essential to detect it. Machine learning is very useful to solve this problem as it shows good results in order to learn all the requisite patterns for classification due to its adaptive existence. Nonetheless, in spam detection, there are a large num...

Optimal design of supply chain network under uncertainty environment using hybrid analytical and simulation modeling approach

Models that aim to optimize the design of supply chain networks have gained more interest in the supply chain literature. Mixed-integer linear programming and discrete-event simulation are widely used for such an optimization problem. We present a hybrid approach to support decisions for supply chain network design using a combination of analytical and discrete-event simulation models. The prop...

Mesoscopic Numerical Simulation Method for Fracture of Concrete

A numerical method from the mesoscopic point of view is proposed to describe the fracture process of concrete. At mesoscopic level, concrete is considered as a three-phase composite consisting of mortar matrix, coarse aggregate and interfacial transition zone (ITZ) between them. According to the grading of coarse aggregate obtained from sieve analysis, the random aggregate models with polygonal...
